As one of County Westmeath’s leading sports organisations, Raharney GAA has long been a hub for community, camaraderie, and competition. The club sought to expand its facilities with a modern clubhouse that would serve as a welcoming space for players, members, and supporters. Shay Murtagh was selected to design and construct this new clubhouse, delivering a custom precast concrete solution that meets functional and aesthetic needs.
The clubhouse was engineered to provide ample space and include key amenities, supporting the social and operational demands of a vibrant sports club. Using our innovative precast concrete methods, Shay Murtagh created a structure that combines durability with a sleek design, ensuring a welcoming, high-quality environment. The clubhouse's precast nature also allows for easy maintenance and a high degree of resilience against Ireland’s varied weather, which is essential for a busy community facility.Sustainability was also a priority for this project. By incorporating eco-friendly practices, Shay Murtagh supported Raharney’s goal of building a clubhouse that not only meets today’s needs but also considers future generations. The project aligns with Shay Murtagh’s vision for a sustainable future and demonstrates our commitment to creating quality infrastructure for clubs across Ireland.
